I think it was a very enriching experience. Not only did it serve to put into practice all the knowledge I acquired during my academic training in a work context, but it also challenged me on a daily basis to think in a different way. Since programming is an area that requires a lot of reasoning, due to the fact that there are several approaches to solving the same problem, a programmer will always tend to choose the most efficient and shortest solution, but it won’t always be the easiest to reach. Sometimes, to solve a problem we create other problems, then we have to try to solve them without generating new problems. But this is like life, isn’t it?
Since this was my first internship, I wasn’t sure what to expect. When I arrived here I was welcomed in a very welcoming environment and I was surprised by the team spirit and mutual help, especially from all those who accompanied me more directly in my internship.

Gotmink is a company that places great value on closeness between all departments. Besides the company’s environment, i would also say the flexibility. It isn’t always easy to manage my time as a working student, but while I was doing my master’s degree Gotmink was always very supportive and provided me with the necessary time flexibility.
I have also always felt a great openness on the part of the company to be able to contribute with my own ideas to the various ongoing projects, regardless of the department and its direction. At Gotmink we always try to find solutions together, and this proximity not only helps to create more cohesive processes and strengthen healthy competitiveness between the various departments, but also greatly improves efficiency in problem-solving. I believe it also contributes to increasing the productivity of each individual employee.

I started my career at the company in May 2017. I started as a Coordinator in the Aveiro structure, where I set up the commercial structure and the administrative department, and in 2019 a new challenge was proposed to me, which ended up in the opening of a new structure in Viseu. Currently I have the challenge of being Regional Director for the Center Region.

I joined the Gotmink Aveiro team in June 2017 as a Commercial. In January 2018 I was given the opportunity to join the administration department of the company as a Backoffice. I feel that those first months were a fundamental period of my journey in the company, in which I was always encouraged to challenge myself every day. The message I try to pass on to all new employees who show some fear when starting in that position is not to be afraid of taking risks, but mainly to make mistakes, because the important thing is to be able to look at those mistakes as opportunities for improvement.
Gotmink is a very goal-oriented company that always strives to provide the best experience for its customers, but mainly focuses on the well-being of its people.
The fact that we have a close manager who is always available and open to discuss and implement new ideas is very motivating. Also the fact that opportunities arise within the company that allow us to grow internally, which only goes to show how Gotmink recognises the value of its employees.

I joined the company in February 2019 as a Commercial and after a year and a half in this position, I was given the opportunity to be a Coordinator of one of the teams.
Gotmink promotes a culture of inclusion above all. Ambition is also one of the main drivers of our company, as you can see through the motivation each new employee brings in order to achieve the best results.
In addition to the great work environment, at Gotmink I have learned to overcome my own limits. The confidence I am given on a daily basis has contributed a lot to my growth, both professionally and personally.

I joined Gotmink in October 2020 as an outbound call centre operator. I had to be proactive, persuasive and communicative in order to be able to convert the customer to the service in question. For the process to be feasible, it was necessary to have total knowledge about the product, since we can only be good salespeople if we believe in what we are selling. Over time I ended up becoming the best salesperson and I attribute part of this merit to the team, which allowed me to acquire various commercial skills. At the end of 2021, the possibility arose of joining the Human Resources department of the company, where I remain to this day.
My objective was always to join the Human Resources department, as it was directly related to my area of studies. Eventually an opportunity arose through internal recruitment and I was offered this new challenge.
I am extremely grateful for the opportunity I have been given. The learning has been daily and constant, and I am not only developing skills in this area but also at a personal level.
Gotmink is a company whose environment allows close relations between the various departments. People are friendly and welcoming, and there is a great spirit of mutual help, which I believe has been decisive in the formation of a dynamic, fun and focused team that strives to achieve the goals that have been set. When we enter the world of work there are various fears that cross our minds, but they all vanished the first day I joined the company.

I started at the company at the end of 2017, as Team Leader. Although I bring a lot of experience in the commercial area, I had never worked in the energy area, a project I was integrated into. In this sense, I tried to quickly absorb all possible information, so that all new employees felt stable and comfortable in clarifying their doubts. This, together with my dedication and that of everyone on my team, led to the usual outcome in the appearance of figures that had quite an impact on Gotmink’s national structure. In 2020, the opportunity arose to take on a new professional challenge, coordinating our structure in Viseu, where I am now.
The human relationship and the management, who always try to be as close as possible to all employees, as there is a strong concern for people’s well-being and personal and professional development. We are also given the necessary freedom to develop new ideas and methods. In addition, Gotmink is committed to not failing its employees in terms of finances and the respective receivables.
The biggest daily challenges are to make the structure grow in a stable and sustained way. That it always feels imbued with a spirit of good humour and joy at work, always with a lot of professionalism. Every day we learn from everyone, including those who have just arrived.
The simple availability that we pass on to the structure and which we also receive from those who lead us, showing that we are always there. This helps to get around a large part of the problems that arise in our day-to-day lives, because before being professionals we are above all human beings.
I started my career at Gotmink as a Call Center operator in December 2015, a position I combined with my studies and which I performed for 2 and a half years. At that time, due to fatigue, I was about to leave the company when I was given the opportunity to join what turned out to be Gotmink’s biggest and main project, the partnership with a company operating in the energy sector. As this was a growing business at the time, I joined the administrative department, where I helped to process documentation. It was a learning process that made me aware of many of the characteristics of that sector of activity and that allowed me to acquire new technical knowledge for my professional career. I stayed in that department for a few months, until I moved to the HR department, where I could apply the knowledge I acquired in the degree I was attending (Design and Graphic Production), given the need the company had to create more appealing contents that would attract more employees. After finishing my degree in the year 2018, I was given the possibility to be in charge of Gotmink’s image and content department, a position I accepted, as I liked the work environment provided by the company and this was also the opportunity to finally be able to apply all my knowledge in a more in-depth way.
Not only the creativity, but also the usefulness that each piece can have. I like to create solutions to problems that arise and working at Gotmink has allowed me to develop skills and improve working methods, as well as learn how to use tools that I didn’t know.
Gotmink’s culture focuses on transparency, achievement and team spirit. I think this can be seen in the relaxed working environment, but without ever losing focus on what the goals are. I would also like to highlight the clarity in communication between employees in the various departments, as well as the solidarity and availability shown by everyone.

I joined the company in 2014 as a Back Office assistant, and two years later I was already responsible for the department, as well as for the customer service shops of one of our main partners, in this case in the energy sector.
In my opinion it is necessary to be proactive, to have good communication, patience, trust, empathy and flexibility.
I think they suit the company perfectly. In my particular case, I can identify with most of them, especially commitment, transparency and ethics.

I joined Gotmink in March 2020 as a receptionist and later, in June of the same year, I was invited to join the Back Office team, a position I still hold today.
Gotmink’s culture and values are the key points on which all companies should base themselves, based on honesty and team spirit. At Gotmink, I believe that all these points are very present and very strong, regardless of the department, so that a common goal, success, is achieved. Here everyone works towards the same goal and no one is left out, and you can feel this especially when there is a problem and everyone comes together to solve it.
I could mention several things when I think of the best things about working at Gotmink, but I think the most relevant, and what makes it a success story, is the team spirit and the good atmosphere. I would also highlight the closeness that exists and the equal way in which we are treated, regardless of the position we hold, whether we have more or less responsibility.
